Do I need to rent a car for my Vacation in Croatia?

I am visiting Croatia in June; Split, Dubrovnik, Hvar and Korcula. Is renting a car a must or will I be ok Ferry hopping and walking from old town Dubrovnik to the beaches?

I don’t think you need a car really. The places are well connected by bus and ferry services. You can walk from old town Dubrovnik, but you won’t find many good beaches quite close to it. It would be better to go on a one day trip to any of the Elaphiti Islands: Koločep, Šipan or Lopud.

For bigger islands such as Hvar and Korčula, you can always hop on a ferry, in fact, you’ll have to:-) There are catamarans too, and they are usually quite frequent, every half hour or so:
